Well with school going on the guild has slowed down quite a bit. With both the Leader Hyperwires,and the Socializer gone for personal reasons jason and Eacritter as well as Aqua are trying to run the guild as best as we can!I have heard no word from Hamster or Noelle so i'll keep doing what i do i guess lol.The halloween giveaway went well,and for the guild i am hoping we can do a christmas giveaway as well if the guild till can survive it.If we do we are gonna need a lot more donations or some cheaper gifts.I also changed the Member of the month for October as well!

As a note to everyone, the council members (myself included) are coming up with a warning and punishment system to help keep peace and order in the guild. When it has been completed the whole guild will be made aware of it. And in the mean time... Make sure you follow the rules!

    The Concept

    Although The Plushie Collectors Guild is not an extremely strict guild, we do have rules and we do expect our members to follow them. If members break rules they will be warned, but if they continue to do so, more punishment will follow. This page gives detailed information on punishment for breaking guild rules.

    Guild Rules

    Review the Guild Rules to make sure you won't receive any punishment.

    Light Offense

    When a member breaks a rule at first, he/she will be gently warned by a member or Council member. This may occur through neomail or on the Guild Message Board and may be a quote from the Guild Rules, or just a simple reminder. The warning will be slight, yet strict. These warnings cannot simply be ignored, but if followed, will be quickly forgotten.

    Medium Offense

    After being friendly reminded of Guild Rules and being warned to cease bad activity, if the member continues to break rules, the Guild Council will send and Official Guild Warning in the form of a neomail, or on the Guild Message Board if the member has neomail blocked, etc. The Official Guild Warning will differ depending on the type of rule which has been broken, and may be editted for certain cirumstances. Listed below are the current Official Guild Warnings written by hamstergirl224.

    Spamming

    The council members of The Plushie Collectors Guild have noticed that you continually spam our boards. Please do not spam. If you continue to do so, you will have all your posts deleted and you will be suspended from the guild. If you keep spamming despite being warned, more serious action will be taken and you may be banned from posting.

    Being Rude/Mean

    The council members of The Plushie Collectors Guild have noticed that you are consistently rude to members of our guild. Our members come from all different backgrounds and parts of the world, and your rude comments can be quite hurtful. Be kind and considerate to all the members of our guild. If you are not, you will have all your posts deleted and you may be suspended or banned from the guild.

    Violation of The Neopet Team’s Rules

    The council members of The Plushie Collectors Guild have noticed that have broken one or more of the rules set out by The Neopets Team. You may not do anything that goes against the Terms and Conditions of Neopets. Their rules still apply to the guild. They may have officially warned you themselves. In any case, you will have all your posts deleted and you might be suspended or banned from the guild. Always make sure that your behavior falls within their guidelines.

    Heavy Offense

    When a member continues to break rules after being repetitively warned, or breaks a rule in a very drastic way, different punishments will follow. After the offense, the Guild Council will speak and decide on the member's punishment. The guild may have to suspend, delete, and/or ban the member depending on the offense. Temporary suspension from the guild will block the member from accessing the guild, writing on the Guild Message Board, participating in guild games, etc. When a member is removed and banned from the guild he/she will never be allowed to return and will not be able to access the guild ever again. If the offense is serious enough, the member may be reported to The Neopets Team and may be suspended, banned, or frozen from the Neopets website itself.

    Wow...Lots of new pictures are up! First off, eacritter and pastry_chef16 have submitted art and have entered the Drawing Contest.     These are the questions that we have so far:

    -How do I upload an image to the Internet?
    Uploading a picture means to take a picture that you have saved onto your computer and make a copy of it on the internet. Once it is uploaded onto the internet it will receive it’s own direct link, otherwise known as the URL. This URL can be placed into your Address Bar to view your picture or can be used within codes to place the image anywhere on the internet.

    First off, you will need an account with an image host. There are many image hosts out there, but a free one will do fine. This tutorial will be showing you how to use Photobucket, so check it out at photobucket.com.

    Once you make an account, you can view your account page to see your album or uplad pictures. Once you are there, click on the “Browse” button.

    This will bring up a pop-up window that shows your computer’s documents. Scroll through and open folders to find the image that you would like to upload. Once you find it, click on it once to highlight it and then click the “Open” button near the bottom of the pop-up window.

    Now, there should be a checkmark next to the filename of your image that shows that it is acceptable and that it should not encounter any problems while uploading. (The checkmark will not appear if your image is too large or if it isn’t the appropriate file such as a .psd.) Once you see the checkmark, click on the “Upload” button if you are ready to upload. (You may not be ready if you would like to upload more images at the same time. To do this, click on the other “Browse” buttons down below the first one that you clicked and continue through the process.)

    Once your picture has successfully uploaded, the page will refresh on its own and return to the top of the page. If you scroll down a bit further, you should see your album. Your newest picture will be on the farthest top left. It will now have a direct link, or URL. To copy the URL, just click on the text located next to “Direct Link”. A small blink will appear that says “Copied” if you successfully copied the text by clicking on it.

    Congratulations! You have uploaded your picture to the internet. Now, you can post the URL that you just copied in your address bar to view the picture, post it for others to copy into their address bars and view it, or create links and images with it.

    To create a simple image with your picture, use this code:

    To create a link with your image, meaning that when you click on your image it will take you to another page on the internet, use this code:

    I only have one entry for the caption contest so far. So come on and show me how witty you are! :D Also, I came up with this idea a while ago, but I think it would be fun if we had a ….Duhn duhn duhn… A Food Fight!!! :D It would be similar to the snowball fight we had in the winter only with any kind of food found on neopets. Rules: Just take an article of food found on neopets and throw it or give it to a guild member who is playing) Keep throwing the food around until the game’s ending date. (To be determined) The food you end up with, you keep! Check the guild message board for the sign up list. I need to see how many of you game-loving guild members are interested first. Play those games!
